Lighting

I have uprated the stock headlights to 130/90W H4 bulbs, I have also uprated the projector fog lights to 130W bulbs.

Because the lighting was still poor on main beam I added two driving lights, these are small ring lights and I have fitted them into the grill and added 130W bulbs,

I found that I was never using the fog lights, and I've always fond fogs to be virtually useless so I replaced the fogs with another pair of driving lights - because these gave exactly the same pattern as the other driving lights I replaced these with 6" Hella driving lights, these have a much tighter beam pattern and so give much longer range (just for a change these have 130W bulbs)

To ensure that there are no problems with melted reflectors, lenses (the headlights have plastic lenses and reflectors I make sure I turn the headlights down to sidelights when sitting stationary for any length of time.

The lights are now blended in a new look front spoiler

Reversing Lights

I have found the standard reversing lights to be absolutely useless - there is no reflector and a fresnel lens,  this is made worse by the side and rear windows being tinted.  To overcome this I cannibalized the small driving lights that I originally had on the front of the car - removed the lens but left the reflector and fitted them behind the original reversing lens - these are now fitted with 55W H3 bulbs - the difference is incredible I can now see where I am going backwards - but because of the fresnel lens they are not too dazzling.
